That is where The Dream Realm begins.
As I continue editing Book Three of The Crimson Legacy series, I've found myself reflecting on how much this world has grown since the first pages of Ambrose – The Isle of Legends. What began as a story of adventure upon dangerous seas has evolved into something far deeper, darker, and far more emotional than I ever anticipated when I first set sail beside these characters.
The Dream Realm is not simply another destination.
It is a place that exists between memory, fear, destiny, and imagination itself.
In this next chapter, readers will journey beyond the safety of familiar shores and encounter new faces—some destined to become allies, others carrying secrets capable of unraveling everything the crew believes they understand about the world around them.
Some characters emerge from the shadows of forgotten history.
Others arrive carrying pain, power, and motives that remain hidden beneath carefully crafted masks.
And some… may not fully belong to the waking world at all.
What excites me most while writing this book is how deeply personal many of these new characters became during the creative process. Each one carries fragments of humanity within them—fear, grief, hope, ambition, love, vengeance, survival. None are entirely simple. None are entirely predictable.
The Dream Realm itself became almost like a living character while writing. It breathes. It shifts. It tests those who enter it. And at times, even I found myself surprised by where the story led.
Readers can expect:
- New realms and haunting environments
- Ancient mysteries tied to the origins of the Lumari
- Dangerous psychological trials
- Emotional reunions and devastating betrayals
- Creatures born from nightmares and forgotten legends
- And revelations that will forever alter the course of The Crimson Legacy
But beneath all the fantasy, battles, and mystery, this story still carries the same heartbeat that started it all:
Hope.
Even in darkness.
Even in grief.
Even when the path ahead seems impossible to navigate.
That has always been the soul of this series.
As Book Three moves through its editing phase, I can honestly say this may be the most ambitious installment I have written so far. There were moments while creating it where I sat back in complete disbelief at where these characters had taken me.
Some scenes broke my heart to write.
Others left me breathless.
And a few… still haunt me long after the page was finished.
I cannot wait for readers to finally step into The Dream Realm beside me.
The tide is turning.
The storm is gathering.
And the next voyage is nearly upon us.
